What proportion of essential oil to use:
In a diffuser: 3 drops in the volume of water for a room of 10 to 20 m2
For local application with a base : 2 drops of essential oil to be mixed with 10 ml of vegetable oil or carrier cream, i.e. 1 drop of essential oil per teaspoon of carrier oil, or 3 drops per tablespoon.
In bath water: 10 drops maximum for a large bathtub , essential oils are not soluble in water, so they will not disperse in the bathtub water...instead, they float on the surface and stick to your skin, which can be irritating...
